Should Widow/Widower remarry?

Today, we find neuclear families in urban area, and its hard to upbring a baby without family. If a man or woman loss his/her spouse and having children, should she/he remarry?

A man/woman can give 11 children at maximum.If she/he is having less children than the maximum then sh/he can marry.See,manusmriti for the proof.

But as per Satyarth prakash

But as per Satyarth prakash chapter 4, a woman can be asociated with other men for having 10 children (because dayanandji said 11th is her husband) but she will be only with them for having childern not as a permanent wife. and those all men should not be becholar. and same with man.

You are talking about niyog.And I am talking about remarriage because you asked about remarriage.

But Manusmriti and Styarth

But Manusmriti and Styarth prakash suport only Niyog, not Remarriage.....

dvij shabad ka arth swami dayanad ji ne bahut achchi tarah se samjhaya hai satyarth prakash. ya to wah pej tumhari pustak me nahi tha, ya tum skip kar gaye. koi nahi ek balak ko papiha (aam ki guthali) or basuri me samanata to dikhai deti hai ki, dono bajate hain. aur wah dono ki aawaj me bhed bhi kar pata hai par poorn roop se nahi, aur nahi wah dono ke mulay ko jaan pata hai.

tum bhi samaya ke saath vyavhaar aur vartalaap seekh jaoge.... haan kisi ko koi upadhi (dust yaa uttam) dene se pahale uski patrata jaan leni chahiye, warana bhavisya me kasht hota. apane shabado ka sahi pryog karna bhi arya ka ek gun hai.

Please edit above unethical/unwanted comments written against persons using this site.During last one year ,I have seen person named JVB using bad language creating personal conflict which is against main aim of site to spread Vedic knowledge.We should have arrangement to edit/acceptance of all comments/posting.Such posting(undesirable)shall be ommitted/deleted and should issue warning against Jvb (changing name/id frequently).

well, its up to a person whether he/she want's to remarry after the death of the spouse purely on ethical grounds. what i mean by that is lifespan is divided into various varna ashrams...and if person fall into grihasth ashram, It's up to the person whether he/she want's to re marry or not evaluating the pros & cons of it maintaining the balance b/w physical, emotional & ethical needs.
